Structure of Steel Wire Braided Hydraulic Hose

  • Inner layer: Oil-resistant synthetic rubber (such as NBR nitrile rubber), protecting the steel wire layer from corrosion.
  • Reinforcement layer: Made of high-strength copper-plated steel wire braiding, bearing pressure and providing strength.
  • Middle layer: A compound of rubber and additives, acting as a bonding and cushioning layer between multiple steel wire layers.
  • Outer layer: Weather-resistant and abrasion-resistant synthetic rubber, protecting the inside of the hydraulic hose and providing weather resistance, abrasion resistance, and corrosion resistance.

Single and Double Layer Steel Wire Braided Hydraulic Hoses

Rentone Hose steel wire braided hydraulic hoses are reliable fluid transfer solutions. Our hydraulic hoses are widely used in various industrial equipment and hydraulic systems. They feature a wide working pressure range, excellent wear resistance, and exceptionally long service life, maintaining stable performance even under harsh conditions.

All Rentone Hose braided hydraulic hoses are designed with a 4:1 safety factor, meaning the minimum burst pressure is four times the recommended working pressure.

These hydraulic hoses are primarily designed for conveying petroleum-based hydraulic fluids, with a working temperature range of –40°C (–40°F) to +100°C (+212°F). Higher or lower temperature requirements can also be met using special rubber compounds and different inner lining materials.

For water-based hydraulic fluids, the recommended maximum working temperature is 70 °C (158°F).
When used for conveying hot air, the working temperature should be limited to 60 °C (140°F) to ensure hose performance and service life.

  • Single-layer steel wire braided hose: Consists of one layer of steel wire braiding; offers better flexibility and a smaller bending radius; suitable for medium to low working pressures; lighter in weight; lower cost.
  • Double-layer steel wire braided hose: Consists of two layers of steel wire braiding; relatively stiffer, with a larger minimum bending radius; suitable for medium to high working pressures; heavier and more expensive.
