Product Description
The flexible Hose EN856 4SH effectively conveys hydraulic fluids for high-pressure and high-impulse applications. EN856 4SH can bear pressure lower than EN 856 4SP hydraulic hose at the same working temperature. The hose is made from oil-proof synthetic rubber, reinforced by four alternating layers of steel wire helix with high tensile strength, and covered by premium quality abrasion and weather-resistant synthetic rubber. Thus, the hose is durable to last for a longer service life.
Technical Data Sheet Of Hydraulic Rubber Hose EN856 4SH

Features And Benefits
- Outstanding resistance to oil, weather, abrasion, ozone, etc.
- Work under high-pressure conditions due to high tensile and high impulse performance
- Meets EN856-4SH, DIN EN 856 4SH Standard
The Differences Between EN 856 4SP And EN 856 4SH Hydraulic Hoses
1. Reinforcement: EN 856 4SP is constructed with four layers of spirally wound steel wire, while EN 856 4SH is constructed with four layers of braided steel wire.
2. Working Pressure: Under the same conditions, EN 856 4SH can withstand higher pressures than EN 856 4SP and is more suitable for high-pressure hydraulic systems.
3. Flexibility: EN 856 4SH (steel wire braid) is more flexible, while EN 856 4SP (steel wire spiral) is more rigid than EN 856 4SH.
4. Applications: 4SP is suitable for agricultural machinery and industrial equipment; 4SH is suitable for high-pressure hydraulic systems in construction machinery and marine applications.
5. Standards: EN 856 4SP complies with EN 856 (European standard for high-pressure hydraulic hoses), while EN 856 4SH complies with both EN 856 and the US standard SAE 100R12.
Hydraulic Rubber Hose Applications
EN856 4SH is a high-pressure rubber hose with four layers of steel wire wrapped around it. It maintains excellent performance under high-temperature conditions and is chemically resistant, making it suitable for conveying hydraulic fluids, liquids, and gases. It is suitable for high-pressure hydraulic systems and is widely used in the following industries:
- Road machinery: mixers, bulldozers, rollers
- Agricultural machinery: tractors, harvesters, seed drills
- Marine equipment: small boats, cruise ships, container ships
- Mining machinery: crushers, rock drills, excavators
- Transportation: trucks, trains, aircraft
- Industrial equipment: hydraulic presses, injection molding machines
