DIN EN 857 2SC Hydraulic Hose Manufacturer – Rentone Hose
EN 857 2SC is similar to EN 853 2SN steel wire reinforced hydraulic hose in the product structure. Compared to EN 853 2SN, EN 857 2SC has a smaller outer diameter and greater flexibility, with a bend radius approximately half that of 2SN. This compact design makes the hydraulic systems or lines easier to install in compact and restricted spaces. It consists of a tube, reinforcement, and cover. The tube is made from oil-resistant synthetic nitrile rubber; the reinforcement is two layers of braided steel wire; and the cover is a high-quality synthetic rubber with oil, weather, and abrasion resistance. The hose is made durable and robust, with a longer service life.

Surfaces of EN 857 2SC Hydraulic Hoses
The two common surface types for EN 857 2SC hydraulic hoses are the fabric-wrap finish and the smooth finish.
Advantages of the Fabric-Wrap Finish:
1. The surface is textured, providing strong friction and excellent anti-slip properties.
2. The surface features a raised and recessed texture, which contributes to superior sealing performance.
Advantages of the Smooth Finish:
1. The surface is flat and smooth, making it resistant to dust accumulation and easy to clean.
2. It offers low frictional resistance, facilitating a smoother flow of hydraulic fluid.

Our Factory Workshop
RENTONE is a manufacturer specializing in the production of hydraulic and industrial hoses. Our products are widely used in various industries, including mining, metallurgy, petroleum, construction machinery, and the chemical industry. Currently, our products are exported to numerous countries and regions, including the UK, the USA, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
Our company operates multiple advanced production lines, including imported lines for steel wire braided hoses, spiral steel wire hoses, and high-speed fiber-and-wire braided hoses. Additionally, we are equipped with testing equipment from Go-tech (Taiwan) and Bilma (Italy) pulse test benches.
The rubber hoses we manufacture comply with various international standards, including ISO, GB, DIN, SAE, and GOST. Our technical team can design and manufacture a wide range of non-standard products, and we also provide on-site services tailored to our clients’ specific requirements.
Our Experimental Equipment
Our facility is equipped with a full range of advanced laboratory testing equipment dedicated to product inspection and R&D.
During the production process, our operations team rigorously monitors the hose manufacturing process, adhering to various standards, checklists, and control systems. We ensure that our products are free of defects and minimize errors to the greatest extent possible.
Upon completion of production, we conduct specialized working-pressure and burst-pressure tests on each hose and perform pulse-fatigue testing on each production batch. We maintain strict quality control at the final outgoing inspection stage to ensure that 100% of our products are delivered in full compliance with specifications.
Rentone Hose provides customers with high-quality, stable, and reliable rubber hoses.
Packaging and Shipping
We provide flexible and reliable packaging solutions tailored to hose specifications, shipping methods, and customer requirements:
Standard hoses are packaged using woven bags wrapped in plastic film, offering effective protection against dust and moisture.
Hydraulic hoses can be packaged in either export-standard cardboard cartons or solid wooden crates, meeting a variety of shipping requirements.
We also offer customized packaging services upon request, including custom labeling, separate batch packaging, specialized carton sizing, and more.
FAQs of Our EN 857 2SC Hydraulic Hose
Temperature Range: -40°C to +100°C; capable of withstanding short-term peaks up to +120°C.
Operating pressure varies depending on the nominal bore size. Taking common specifications as examples:
DN6 (1/4″): Operating Pressure 400 bar, Burst Pressure 1600 bar
DN8 (5/16″): Operating Pressure 350 bar, Burst Pressure 1400 bar
DN10 (3/8″): Operating Pressure 330 bar, Burst Pressure 1320 bar
DN12 (1/2″): Operating Pressure 275 bar, Burst Pressure 1100 bar
The primary difference between these two types of hoses is their outer diameters and bend radii. The EN857 2SC hydraulic hose features a compact design with a thinner outer rubber cover. Its overall outer diameter is smaller than that of the EN853 2SN, and it possesses a smaller bend radius, making it suitable for installation in confined spaces. In contrast, the EN853 2SN hydraulic hose features a standard design with a larger outer diameter. Simply put, if the equipment space is limited, the EN857 2SC is the superior choice.
Our EN857 2SC hoses are manufactured in strict compliance with the EN857 standard. From the receipt of raw materials to the shipment of finished products, they undergo multiple stages of testing, including impulse testing, burst testing, aging testing, and more.
EN 857 2SC Hydraulic Hose is suitable for conveying the following fluids:
- Mineral oils (HL, HLP types)
- Vegetable oils (HETG type)
- Synthetic esters (HEES type)
- Water-based hydraulic fluids (Water-Glycol)
However, this hydraulic hose is not suitable for use with castor oil-based fluids, strong acids, or strong alkaline solutions.
Standard hose bodies are printed with the model number, nominal diameter, pressure rating, applicable standards, and batch number. If you have OEM customization requirements, we can provide custom printing on the hose body—including your brand logo and product information—depending on the order volume.
